With significant support from the Intimate Apparel Square Club, the Rusk Institute opened a beautiful Children's PlayGarden in 1998. The PlayGarden is specifically designed so that children with disabilities can enjoy the outdoors in a natural, therapeutic environment.

The Intimate Apparel Square Club is reaffirming its dedication to the kids at Rusk by taking on a major commitment of $6 million toward the Pediatric Wing in the newly planned Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU Hospitals Center. In this state-of -the-art facility, children with disabilities will continue to receive quality treatment by the Rusk staff in a comforting and cheerful environment. More accommodations will be available for parents, and therapeutic programs that help children adapt to their disabilities and cope with daily life will be expanded.
