This year's honoree, Ms. Dorrit Bern, Chairman, President and CEO of Charming Shoppes Inc. was introduced to the members of the IASC at The Water Club in New York City on August 2nd 2005
At her acceptance remarks, Ms. Bern stated that she will do her utmost to raise large sums for the Children of the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitaion Medicine. She applauded the Club's dedication and efforts on behalf of the Rusk Institute.
The Hug dinner honoring Ms. Bern will be held at the New York Hilton on Tuesday November 8th 2005
On the same evening Mr. Lance Whitaker of Star Binding and Trim was awarded the Al Jaffin Awrad for his dedication and service to our club.
