Members of the Intimate Apparel Square Club (IASC) got up close and personal with the 2008 HUG Award honorees, designer Betsey Johnson and Isaac Gindi, Executive Vice President of Century 21 Department Stores, at the annual “Meet the Honorees” gathering on August 19 at New York’s Water Club. Having just completed the traditional tour of the pedriatric ward at the Rusk Institute, both honorees expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the opportunity to help IASC raise funds for the children. The gathering also marked the presentation of the Al Jaffin Award, which recognizes individual members for their ongoing contributions to the Club, to Rosa Chamides.
